In preparation for #nationalpoetrymonth coming up in April, I decided to #flashback to a poem I wrote in April 2022 for today’s #writerwednesday post.

The writing prompt: take the phrase “The Last (blank),” replace the blank with a word or phrase, make the new phrase the title of your poem, and then, write your poem.
